I felt that whatever I said to my clients was the final verdict of their lives. If I said it was good,it was going to be good. If I said it was bad,then they are going to have bad luck in the periods I mentioned. This belief was fixed in my mind,until I came across 2 clients who changed my thinking forever. Let me share their stories with you,so that you understand that ultimately,you can still create good luck,despite whatever your astrologer tells you.

The first story is about a 68 year old lady. This lady has 3 daughters and a son. She came to ask me about her childrens’ luck cycle. After analysing her childrens’ 8 characters,I offered to analyse hers for free. She agreed.

From her 8 characters and luck pillars, I found out that she was going through a challenging period. All the elements were unfavorable to her. There was too much water and no fire. Water is unfavorable to her while fire and wood are her favorable elements. She was going through 5 years of water in her luck pillar.

Basing on my experience,there were cases with a similar scenario like hers,but these people were either down with illness or their luck cycle was so bad that no matter what decision they made,it was the wrong decision. As she was talking to me,I didn’t feel that her luck was down. She seemed very jovial and happy with life.

I told her that that period of time was quite challenging for her, but to me, it seemed that she was doing well. I shared with her my experience with other clients who had similar astrological results as her, and that those clients went through really tough times.

“What you said is true,this period,it has been very challenging for me. No matter what, I’m grateful that I’m healthy enough to be able to move around freely, and that my children are doing well.” She replied.

I went on to advice her on how to enhance her luck cycle by boosting the effect of fire in her daily life. Here’s her reply…”Hey, I love hot and spicy food. I have a dog at home and during this period of time, I don’t know why I keep wearing red clothes.”

It was something new to me. Basing on experience,when one’s luck is down, he/she will always make lousy decisions or boost his/her unfavorable elements through daily activities. To put it simply, he/she will do things which brings more bad luck. I wondered what else did this lady do. Was she a very religious person?

“I’m a free thinker.I don’t believe in any religion. I only believe in doing good to others. If I am able to give and to be generous to those in need, to sow good seeds,I believe that no matter how bad my luck may be, I will still survive. There are so many things to be happy about in life.”

Now, let’s move on to the next story…

This story is about a relative of mine. He is someone who is quite close to me. He came to consult me because he felt that his luck was really down. He wanted to know if I was able to advise him on how to enhance and improve his luck cycle. Before I analysed his 8 characters, I realised that he was indeed going through a tough period.

He went for an eye operation,but it wasn’t very successful. He wanted to lodge a complain against the doctor because the doctor didn’t do a good job. There were other problems with his family life as well. His wife and children were not happy with him because of his demanding attitude.

On hearing his story,you probably would have sympathised with him. You would have thought that the whole world seemed to be against him. Or I should say I thought so,until I checked out his 8 characters and luck pillars.

After checking out his luck pillars and 8 characters, I discovered that he had 20 years of good luck. His favorable element is Metal and he was going through 20 years of Metal in his luck pillars. I was quite surprised as according to what he said, it would seem that he was going through a very bad patch.

I thought I made a mistake in working out his 8 characters and luck pillars. I checked and double checked,but there was no mistake. He was indeed going through 20 years of good luck. But why was he unhappy? Why was he complaining so much? Why did so many “bad things” happen to him?

I realised that he liked to complain about people and things. He was always right. No one was right. Everyone did him wrong. There was nothing or no one to be grateful for. Sometimes,he would get into quarrels with shopkeepers or waiters. When driving on the road, he would start scolding other drivers, if they obstructed his way, whether intentionally or unintentionally.

So what’s the conclusion here?

The conclusion is that astrology can be overwritten. No matter what your astrologer tells you, you can still change it. Whether it is good luck or bad luck,it still can be changed.I urge you to only change bad luck into good luck and not vice versa. Don’t be like my relative. And yes, the missing ingredient is your attitude towards life and towards others. Are you a blessing to others?

Do you read your horoscope? And do you remember it? Millions of people won’t leave home without reading their horoscope. Are they horoscope junkies?

An example of a daily horoscope for a Sun sign, would be “A good day for fishing.And we don’t just mean for fish! Pay attention to the possible catches, but throw back the little stuff.” A horoscope junkie that pays attention to that horoscope will pay attention to anything that might catch thir eye, from fish to advice — and for a good reason.

They daily horoscpoes that you find in the papers are for Sun signs only. Although your Sun sign is the dominant feature of your chart, it is by no means the only one. Your Sun sign is just one of at least 40 different parts of your astrological birth chart. This may surprise you but everyone has all the zodiac charts.

A Sun sign reading applies to everyone with that Sun sign as a weather report applies to everyone that lives in that area. The way the atomspheric or astrological weather affects you depends on many variables.

Sun signs are general because they apply to only a small part of your astrological picture. A forcast could be dead on for you or it could be so far fetched that there is no making sense of it. Your may be undergoing severe stress and other difficulties because your personal cycle is at a challenging point, even though you Sun sign forcast may say that it is going to be a cheery and nice day. Or your Sun sing forcast may caution you of rough waters in reletionships for the day, but everyone around you is kind & helpful.

So should you believe everything you read in the papers or the daily horoscope the you get in your e-mail everyday. If your Sun sign forcast is written by a reputable astrologer, then absolutely. Though these forcasts can be rather general, astrologers look at more then your Sun sign to make them. They are looking at the planets and their cycles, and the planets reletionship to your Sun sign. All of this added together can make the horoscope more personal. As for everything else you might want to take it with a grain of salt.

Astrology connects your outer world and your inner world to reveal your true potential. How you do this depends on your free will. Sometimes these manifestions are easy, with the supporting energies from the planetry placements in your birth chart. Other times the energies that make manifesting your potential more of a challange.

Sometimes your behaviors and consequences give you an idea of what your lessons will be. You made need to realize that when you let others tell you what to do and why and then try to recalim tha part or yourself. Your conscious self is completely unaware of other lessons. No matter what nothing is going to prevent you from learning these lessons. If you choose to ingore your lessons, will continue to present themselves to you until you learn them.

It’s possible to predict, that you are going to have major changes in your home life during a certain period in your life, based on your present cycles. This change can be entirely up to you, you could choose to move that you have been wanting to or you could remodel your house or make some other changes to your home. Or you can choose to ignore the prediction and wait to get evicted or for house to get hit my a tree or worse by lightning!

In the first example you have choices to make and you make them, this is called free will. Waiting for lightning of to be evicted, could be called fate. In other words, you are going to learn the lesson whether your conscious mid wants to or not, this is also called fate.

In areas where you have lessons to learn you really don’t have a choice, execpt where you are going to make things easy on yourself & cooperate or make things hard on yourself & not cooperate. So, you do have choices (free will) to make just not about avoiding your lessons to learn (fate).

That said, I have to agree half-heartedly, half-jokingly, that sometimes ignorance is bliss — and I sometimes have that thought in the back of my mind as I open up my chart and look at what’s coming over the hill in the next several months … or several years. But ignorance is not such bliss that I’m willing to adopt it as a lifestyle. There’s a real difference between ignorance-as-bliss and sheer-cussed-stupidity. (And for me, informed preparation and a heads-up alert beats them both hands-down.) I have never yet refused to look at my chart because I didn’t want to know what it says. (Maybe that day is coming — but not so far.) And I have to admit that sometimes what stares back at me from that page with all the funny symbols is not one bit joyful.

But to know what I know and not use it — even when the going is tough and really, really unpleasant, makes no more sense to me than slapping a blindfold securely over my eyes as I fire up the car and pull out of my driveway onto the road. Or refusing to look at the map because it may show me that the river I’m sailing on is steering me straight toward one mother-bear of a waterfall. There are some people who are even more adamant about the benefits of preparation than I am … and others who just as firmly prefer the ignorance route. Both are choices — and people get to make them.

But whether you want to be sure you have your life-jacket cinched on well and your cargo tied down twenty minutes ahead of time, or decide to beach the boat and, if possible, carry it and YOU around the problem on a different path, or whether you really “don’t want to think about it” until you hear the deep roar of falling water on rocks and see the edge of the world coming up fast, the information is there. And how you choose to use it … or whether or not you even choose to know about it … can have a real impact on your future, the quality of your experience, and the message you take from whatever happened.

To me, that’s Astrology’s real value. Not as a predictor of “what’s going to happen to me” as a helpless victim of Fate … but as an indicator that there are both pleasures and potholes (to put it mildly) on the road ahead, and I have some things to learn and some choices to make on how to deal with them.

On the surface, you may think you have great astrological compatibility on paper with two seemingly easy-going, compassionate people (signified in part, for example, by both having an abundance of Pisces and Cancer energy).

However, it’s discovered that one has very compressed, narrow, extreme right-slanted, sharp, angular, heavy pressure script with rigid baselines and downward slanting, weak-ending, pointed letter t-bars. Plus, strong patterns of over-balanced “8″ and “1″ energy are found in the comprehensive numerology charts. All of this with other corroborating information alerts the analyst to the strong possibility of that person being a domineering abuser.

The other person’s comprehensive charts involve, in part, lots of under-balanced “2″ energy which suggests dependency and self-deprecation. In support of these notions, that person’s script includes martyr/victim traits such as small overall script size, light writing pressure, close word spacing, excessively rounded and immature- looking writing, droopy rhythm and connectives between letters, pinched circle letters, low and weakly crossed letter t-bars back to the left instead of to the right, and x-formations where the letter x is not present.

In this case, a surface astrology interpretation would unfortunately leave open the potential for a very toxic, if not dangerous match.

An aside, psychology was not part of astrology until about 100 years ago. The approximately 2000 year tradition of the science of astrology involves mostly prediction instead of psychological character analysis. Unfortunately, in our view, most astrology found today in print or on-line is primarily modern, psychological astrology, and involves a frivolous and distorted approach to the science.

Astrology that’s largely for entertainment only (although usually not presented as such) includes, for example, Sun or Moon sign horoscopes, and readings done by astrologers who commonly promote falsehoods such as, “…(numerology or) astrology isn’t predestination or fate…how things play out is going to be up to you,” stated to cover a refusal to do in-depth delineation, or mask an inability to do accurate prediction.

Some popular modern astrologers even go so far as to offensively suggest escapism, wishful thinking, self- fulfilling prophesies, and a failure to take responsibility for one’s actions and life in response to the idea that some astrologers and numerologists (like us) say it’s possible to measure and outline personal fate (i.e., impart the general inclination of fate, and frequently, even precise future circumstances and events). Worse, they deny that fate exists, and also deny the reality that varying degrees of unavoidable adversity (which is also measurable) in people’s lives serves a divine purpose.

The truth is that their form of astrology or numerology isn’t about predestination or fate and that original ancient predictive astrology and numerology are absolutely about predestination and fate.

It’s ironic how fully embracing the concepts of karma and fate is directly related to taking responsibility for one’s actions and that much of the modern astrology found today offers mainly an escape from the hard realities of life.

Reviewing Sun Signs, Moon Signs, or any other individual aspect without considering the rest of the charts’ contents and patterns within those charts, will only give you surface insight. It tells you virtually nothing about the reality of the personality, or the compatibility between you and another person.

For example, the Sign of Aquarius is considered to be relatively harmonious with the Sign of Sagittarius. If you select ten random people with Aquarius Sun Signs and match them with ten people with Sagittarius Sun Signs, it’s entirely possible that none of them will get along with each other. It’s also entirely possible that all of them will get along.

The best romantic matches for a Libra Sun and Cancer Moon combination, for instance, depends entirely upon the health of the respective planets (strong and well, or involving afflictions including planets in detriment, badly aspected planets, weak house placement, retrogrades, etc.), their rulers and the health of those rulers, along with the rest of the several hundred aspects, and patterns comprised of those aspects, throughout the comprehensive charts of each person.

It’s possible for a person with a Libra Sun and Cancer Moon, for example, to have wonderful compatibility with a person with an Aries Sun and Capricorn Moon, both oppositions.

Oppositions are commonly considered to involve poor compatibility, but sometimes very close oppositions (opposing planets that are very tightly aspected by a degree or two, within the compatibility charts) offer more reward than challenge, especially if the remaining composite contents are harmonious.

Oppositions are as follows: Aries is opposed to Libra. Taurus is opposed to Scorpio. Gemini is opposed to Sagittarius. Cancer is opposed to Capricorn. Leo is opposed to Aquarius. Virgo is opposed to Pisces.

Conjunctions, same sign combinations, represent intensification of the sign’s energy, and is sometimes positive and sometimes negative. Generally, it’s a “hard” aspect, and not as easy flowing as trines and sextiles.

Although we feel that modern astrology places too much emphasis on Ptolemaic aspects, it’s good to have an understanding of them.

The basic, major Ptolemaic aspects include oppositions (180 degree angle), conjunctions (0 degree angle), squares (90 degree angle), trines (120 degree angle), and sextiles (60 degree angle).

Square aspects are combinations of signs that are of different elements (see below), like Taurus with Leo, and generally indicate challenge and tension. Trine aspects are combinations of signs that are of the same element, such as Scorpio with Pisces (both water), and are generally agreeable. Sextile aspects are combinations of signs that are of compatible, but different, elements such as Cancer with Virgo, or Leo with Libra, and are also generally favorable.

If you accept the trivial approach of reviewing only the Sun and Moon signs, which might offer a preview at best, then it’s good to look at the elemental combinations of the signs for some basic awareness.

On the surface, fire and air are harmonious, and earth and water are harmonious. In addition, each element commonly mixes well with itself (fire and fire, etc.).

Fire signs are Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius.

Earth signs are Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn.

Air signs are Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius.

Water signs are Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces.

A surface approach will involve Libra Sun, Cancer Moon compatibility with an air or fire Sun, along with a water or earth Moon, but that’s just the beginning.

If you want to go a little deeper, yet still not get into comprehensive analysis, considering the nature of the sign is also helpful (Fixed, Mutable, or Cardinal), as is considering the masculine or feminine nature of the sign (fire and air are masculine, and earth and water are feminine).

We also strongly recommend contemplating each person’s personal timing when considering compatibility.

Personal timing, comprised of scores of short, medium, and long-term continuous and non-continuous numerological and astrological cyclical timing methods, regularly symbolically makes or breaks relationships. The collective cycles can be divided into groups that are the basis for pattern recognition.

Two people can seemingly have nothing in common aside from their current personal time cycles (some as short as a day, others as long as many years), and when those time cycles change, the relationship changes, or even dissolves.

It should be noted that we understand that it is possible for someone who has strong, solid psychic ability and a good, general understanding of astrology to successfully use Sun and Moon signs exclusively as psychic touchstones. But few have this talent where they can get consistent, accurate reads without a comprehensive approach.

Again, an astrologer must consider all comprehensive charts in determining compatibility, along with the comprehensive timing charts, and not just the Sun and Moon signs if one really wants to uncover existing compatibility. Again, we have found that you also must consider the comprehensive numerology charts, along with handwriting analysis (subconscious fears and defenses, etc.), if you want a high level of accuracy.

A skeptic saying that they “…don’t believe in astrology,” to us, is a reasonable and understandable statement if they have only been exposed to Sun Sign astrology, which is the basis for most astrology horoscopes today.

Comparing Sun Sign astrology to an in-depth analysis as referred to in the above paragraphs is like comparing conspiracy theory half-truths to confirmed CIA intelligence.
